Today is the day of the official opening and there are many parents around the school! Also, the guest of honor is arriving soon and everybody is busy entertaining the parents... :D

The Opening is very fun & more parents are arriving by the minute!

Exams are officially over and cerise 5 is busy with the school's grand opening on 20th November.

Which is just 1 week away.

Right now,the whole school is decorating their classes for the big day,

Hanging up art pieces, preparing their speeches, writing out proposals and much more!!!

As for our class, half of the class is in the computer lab,and the other half, is decorating the classroom trying to make it the best among the other classes.

Some people are hanging up art pieces on the windows, while some are just cutting pieces of paper for their groups' to decorate their presentation boards!

If anyone has an easel, you're going to need it to hold up your presentation boards during the Grand Opening!! :D

Mrs. Hoa's BBQ

As you all probably know, last week or something we all went to Mrs. Hoa's BBQ. Well.. Most of us anyways.

Before Mrs Hoa's BBQ, everyone spent about half an hour running around, taking pictures, and waiting for other people to come.

This was the business in Mrs Hoa's living room:

Next, We all watched a movie called:

Secret Admirer

in Mrs Hoa's home theater!

After that, we all were called out to start eating!!!

Roasting Marshmallows..

And eating spaggetti, sushi, corn, carrots, & peas...

And there were loads of other foods too.

After that, we all started to go home one by one...
and Mrs. Hoa had her own personal BBQ!!

okay..so the BBQ was awesome.but if everyone was there,it would prefect!!!we got to eat BBQ chickens(which was awesome)marshmallows(which was damn nice)hotdogs(which was tasty)and last but not least,the pasta and sushi,htey were marvelous,it was nice.We took pictures but it seems like they would not be on the blog so soon,so hopefully you peeps have the patience to wait for awhile..we promise we would put them on soon..so lets all chill

LOL...here are some PiCs@the P5 adventure camp!Yahoo!!!This is a picture of group 8 painting their group flag.

And this is what we call attentive.Everyone is listening to the instructions being given before playing this game which requires alot of cooperation.

This group is playing the rope of faith.It is basically the same as skipping just that the group has to jump together at the same time.It's not easy though,for those who tried it.

Everybody says yay!!!The P5 camp is tomorrow and everybody can't wait for it!It's just too exciting!LOL...But always remember that safety comes first and don't forget that we must report to the hall once we reach school and look out for the groups we are in!

Lol...Racial Harmony was so much fun this year,we got to see the traditions and weddings of the different races.During our recess,we also got to buy food and different items from various stalls.Nut most of all,we must respect all races.Here are some pictures.One of which contains the class photo.

NDP 09,this wonderful day

Hello,yesterday,Saturday 18 July 2009,we went for NDP 09.It was an awesome and wonderful experience.The NDP show was really a big hit for us.The fun pack has many brilliant items in it.(the picture at the bottom.)
We enjoyed the show very much,especially the fireworks,they were beautiful.They even had fireworks in the shape of hearts.They show us the progress of Singapore through out the years.They showed it in a way whereby it is from chapter 1 to 10.Chapter 1 was about Sang Nila Utama and that he found an island called Temasek also known as Singapore in the present.They skipped some chapters though and Chapter 10 was about the present Singapore and also,the stage is shaped in such a way,it looks like an eye so it is called, The Big Eye.

During the show. There was a scene of a
"Terrorist Attack" where the terrorists had
planted bombs on the stage. The performers
rushed of the stage as fire trucks & ambulances
arrived at the scene. It was a very exciting scene. After that, helicopters flew in and the Police chased the terrorists all around the river. The bomb squad also had to come and disable the bomb.

Temperature taking exercise

Hi,
since school reopened,we have been having temperature taking exercise due to H1N1.If our temperature is 37.4 degrees,which is our trigger,we would be sent home immediately and if you do have a fever,please do not go to school and go to a clinic with the H1N1 Ready sign on the left.

NDP Notice

Hi,
tomorrow,we,Primary 5's would be going for the NDP show.Please assemble in the courtyard according to your class.If it is raining,please proceed to the hall and on that day,if you are unwell,please do not come to school or rather,take your temperature at home before coming to school.But do call the school's general office if you are not attending or caught in a massive traffic jam.You would have to bring ponchos(disposable raincoat),a cap, a packet of tissue paper,your own dinner and cameras(optional)although the fun pack that you will be issued has some of the items mentioned above.If you are to bring cameras and handphones,the school is not taking any responsibly if it is lost and will not make a search for it.We would be leaving around 2 plus.So if you are late we will not wait for you.The show will end and then it will take a long time to go back to the school as there will be other schools leaving the place.We will arrive in school from 9.15p.m to 10.15p.m.
